When they say it’s clear, they really mean it
This toilet mat really surpassed my expectations. The clear option is literally invisible. The size is just right, it grips well, the anti slip texture feels great underfoot, the adhesive is solid and is not bulky. But what I love most is how the mat extends and wraps around the toilet base and seals the grout—a total game changer, especially now that my daughter is potty training. This is exactly what is described however, it is only good if your floor is clean looking. My bathroom tiles, has a stain from the carpet tape I previously used. It looks messy and can’t be removed. I am keeping it because it is indeed non skid. I end up putting another rug over it. I could have thought about it. Cutting it to the shape of the toilet base wasn’t easy.

Great idea, but tricky to apply and doesn’t fit well
This toilet mat sounded like a great idea — it’s invisible, waterproof, and offers full protection around the toilet area. However, applying it was harder than expected. Just like a screen protector, it’s easy to trap air bubbles underneath, which makes it look messy. It also doesn’t fit the shape of my toilet very well, so the edges don’t lay flat. I really wanted to like it, but the application and fit make it less practical than I hoped.

This is a Safety Mat Invisible Toilet Mat. It’s made out of a clear waterproof vinyl material. You simply peel and stick it to the floor. I was very surprised at how thin this material was. It’s very paper thin and tears very easily. It already had a few small tears around the part that goes around the commode. Even though I wasn’t happy with the product, I still tried it. I followed the directions but it kept popping up. The adhesion wasn’t working so well. I would not recommend this product at all due to the low quality of material. It’s definitely not worth almost $50 dollar.

A godsend for my home
This is a godsend for my husband. My husband is getting older and he seems to miss the toilet more than ever. I’m tired of having to clean it up and this has made it so much easier. It comes in a nice package which is kind of large so know that. It was fairly easy to install and I really like that it’s peel and stick which means you can take it off and clean it real easily. It’s made a material that makes it waterproof and easy to install. Well my husband still continues to have ” ” accidents at least I’ll be able to help clean or make him clean this in much easier way. Overall I think this is a great price and a great product for any home where you have some issues

This floor mat is intended to be placed around the base of a toilet to keep little splashes of ick out of tile grout, and for that it works well. It’s nearly clear, but has a textured finish and not absorbant. It is totally flat and has an adhesive backing that is strong enough to hold but not so strong as to prevent eventual removal. It can be custom fit around different style bases.

Couldn’t get it to quite fit my toilet without cutting too much off. The base of my toilet is square and small for some reason 😭 Quality and material looks good overall though. Will save it for my next apartment

3/5 ⭐⭐⭐ Mat seems fine; adhesive is a bit much

This may be a good product, but it’s not going to work for me.
The label was stuck on with what I realized was a piece of the mat material. It is *STICKY*!! I thought it would have window cling level adhesive, but it’s “scraper and solvent to remove it” level sticky.
This may be exactly what you’re looking for, but I’m not putting it on my brand new LVT floor.
It seems to be fairly thick and will probably last, but you’ve been forewarned what to expect should you ever remove it.
I’m giving it 3 stars because the material, though thick and probably fairly long lived, seems to be soft enough that it will scratch and nick. Then you’ll remove it and deal with the adhesive. No thanks.

Great barrier for potential accidents.
I will give this 5 stars because the concept is a great one. The plus for this mat is that it does have a slip resistant quality about it. It is not too thick and the quality seems like it will have good sustainability. This is a two person operation. My husband and I and I don’t feel like we did the mat justice in the fitting process. Just know you may have to make adjustments for your toilet. . But still again the concept is a good one. I will be recovering from a surgery and I will be moving slow. I hope to not have any accidents but this barrier is a great mental and physical security to me for ease of potential necessary clean ups.

5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually works. Even with three little boys!

Didn’t quite fit my toilet perfectly, so I had to make a few cuts to get it tight and flat. After that, I caulked around the toilet again—this time over the edge of the mat—to make sure no urine could sneak underneath (which it definitely would’ve, with three little boys in the house 😆).

I can’t speak for longevity since I had to modify it, but wow—there’s already a huge improvement in the urine odor. I no longer feel like I’m walking into a torture chamber every time I go into their bathroom.

And the “invisible” part? Not a joke. A few days later I was cleaning the floor in there, saw what I thought was a crack in the vinyl floor, and panicked…how in the world?! Who did this?!! Then I realized it was just the edge of the mat. Me. I did that. Forgot it was even there.

All that said, it clearly does what it is supposed to, makes cleaning a lot easier, thin enough to not notice it at all, but thick enough to protect the floor underneath.

Sanitary protection finally especially for carpeted bathrooms
If you live with men and boys, then you know this is a necessary thing. There’s nothing worse to me than cleaning around the toilet after the boys. No matter how hard you try, there’s always some bit of yuck around the grout and behind. This solved my problem by creating a smooth barrier that I could clean much easier and a splash zone that covered what was necessary. Make sure your surface is very very clean before you apply. It blends in seamlessly with your floor or carpet. And particularly, if you have carpet in your bathroom, you will appreciate this. Very tricky to install though as it does tend to roll in on itself. So take your time and trim before you peel. Custom fit is up to you. It is not absorbent so you can clean it easily with a disposable sanitary wipe. Not so thick that you’ll trip over it. Matches any decor.

This review is for the SafetyMat® Invisible Toilet Mat – Peel & Stick, from the Safety Mat Store. Delivered on time and in perfect condition from Amazon. This works well once down, but adhesive is super sticky – not meant for a short-term solution, instead for the long term. Before placing in position, you must make sure your floor is clean and dry (really clean), as any problems will be highly visible forever. Once down it works as intended – Easy to clean, also makes a wonderful non-stick base for you to place a decorative mat over. Recommended as long as you prep first.

I will say this is pretty amazing! It is sturdy and durable feeling. Cleans super easy. Only issue is the install. It is basically peel and stick but you have to go slow and take your time or you will get bubbles or Wei Joe’s or alignment will be off. I took my time since this is so sticky and I knew once down it is DOWN for a good while lol. Great for quick clean ups after potty training accidents or adult ones. Keeps from having to use stinky odor absorbing mats/rugs. This also was great for my bathroom since the tub and toilet are close to each other and having a contoured rug with a bathtub rug was not possible. The contoured rug always got moved around and wouldn’t stay in place because it was halfway on the bathtub rug. Now I don’t have to have one under the toilet with this.

4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Installation not a Breeze but an upgrade from a bare floor or UShaped toilet mat

Wasn’t as easy to apply as I thought it would be i suggest having someone help you. Once it sticks to the floor its not moving so you have to be exact. Some of the paper didn’t come off cleanly and there are pieces of the mat that don’t stick well because of that. Overall you’re substituting a bare floor or fluffy toilet mat for this which is easier to clean. We’ve used it for about a week. I have a 4 and 6 year olds who spend alot of time in my room and use my bathroom alot. They pee.on tbe side of the toilet all the time and i do think that the mat has helped conntrol the smell some until im able to clean it or recognize that its soiled. The pee does dry quicker on the mat than my flooring. I would likely repurchase this but know if youre cumbersome have someone else do it or at least help!

This is a decent product. It isn’t quite what I was expecting. It’s on the thinner side. It is also kind of difficult to install. It is quite sticky. If you mess up, it’s hard to fix and can wear out the adhesive. Definitely measure first and plan your steps. It does work well. I wouldn’t call it invisible, but it isn’t glaringly noticeable. It’s easy to clean. I have semi porous tile and it helps a lot with protection there. Certainly easier to clean than that. I give it 4 stars.

Easy to Clean!
I picked up this clear floor sticker to help with bathroom cleanup, and it has been a real help. The transparency makes it barely noticeable on the floor, which is great for aesthetics, and it was super easy to install. I love that it can be easily trimmed or adjusted to fit most standard toilets perfectly. Cleaning is so much easier than just dealing with bare tile, which is perfect for our bathroom that often has little accidents. The material has a little bit of friction so it seems to guide feet into the right spot, which has been surprisingly helpful for our person. It was advertised as glow-in-the-dark in some parts of the description, but I haven’t noticed that feature yet, though overall, it’s very practical, versatile, and useful.
