Built from a practical floor-safety problem

SafetyMat was founded by inventor Adriana Reis. Her work centers on a safety-mat platform that combines an adhesive-backed base with surface and graphic options for targeted applications. The company continues to develop that idea through standard products and measured custom projects.

U.S. Patent No. 12,708,240

The patent, titled “Safety mat,” was issued August 18, 2026 and lists Adriana Reis of Cape Coral as inventor. A patent protects specified inventions and claims; it does not by itself certify the performance of every product, material, or installation.
